Da Vinci Code is R-18 in the Philippines

May17

The Da Vinci Code is officially for adults-only in the Philippines. Why? — I don’t know.

Somewhere in the middle, this forsaken country is confused between the division of the Church and the State.

At least I am old enough to watch it. I’m not expecting anything from this movie. It is overly rated. Everytime I log in the internet, I see news about The Da Vinci Code. And when I turn on National Geographic Channel — The Da Vinci Code. Geez.

In the US, it is rated PG-13. I personally think that teens should watch this film. After all it is not porn. And i think kids these days have already enough porn in the internet hehe! It would be a good learning experience for them.

The MTRCB gave the movie an R-18 rating because the “thematic, verbal and visual content of this fictionalized drama-thriller, from an over-all perspective, requires mature discernment.” Sunstar

    thanks!
ahaha! i like this part here:
“we must do whatever measures to stop the screening of this movie in the country” sabi nya sa inquirer.. utot mo! sino ka? pope? :) galingan nyo na lang mangurakot hanggat kaya nyo dahil darating din yung day of karma para sa inyo.

give them 1% of the movie earnings, maging GP ang rating ng Da Vinci Code sa Philippines
